Callaway Golf BallsAt the moment, there are six models of Callaway golf balls available from the official Callaway Golf website; one is a ladies golf ball, one is a 5-layer Tour-level golf ball, and the other four are 2-layer or 3-layer golf balls designed for recreational golfers with low to high handicaps. The newest golf balls from Callaway are the Callaway Hex Black Tour, Callaway Hex Chrome, Callaway HX Diablo Tour, and Callaway HX Diablo golf balls.

In the table below you will find all 6 Callaway Golf balls plus the Callaway Tour i(S) and i(Z) which are still available from Shop.CallawayGolf.com. You will also find a price comparison from 4 different online stores. The golf balls that are no longer available from the official Callaway Golf website are still available from Amazon.com:

  • Callaway Big Bertha Diablo
  • Callaway HX Bite
  • Callaway HX Hot Plus
  • Callaway HX Pearl
  • Callaway Warbird (Previous Models
  • Plus More

I have chosen Shop.CallawayGolf.com as they are the official online golf store for Callaway Golf. The second online golf store is InTheHoleGolf.com because they are known for their low prices and free shipping on orders over $75. The third is GolfBalls.comicon as they are renowned for having the largest selection of new golf balls in the world. The fourth online store is Amazon.com where you will find a large selection and the option of buying new or used golf balls from several different sources.

The prices are for the current year Callaway golf balls, where available. If you see a price at one store that seams a lot lower than the others, it could be because it is an older model. All prices are correct at the time of writing this page. N/A means that a particular model is not available at the specified online store.

Callaway History

Callaway is a fairly recent player in the golf equipment industry. It all began when Ely Callaway bought a stake in Hickory Sticks USA in 1982. Then in 1983 he renamed the company as Callaway Hickory Sticks USA and became the companies CEO and President. Finally, in 1988 the company was called Callaway Golf Company.

Callaway Golf Balls History

It wasn’t until 1996 that Callaway Golf Ball Company was formed with the mission of developing and manufacturing evidently superior and pleasantly different golf balls. In 2000, the 3-piece Callaway Rule 35 golf ball was released. The Rule 35 was a favourite and highly praised among professionals and amateurs alike.

In 2002, Callaway introduced the HX golf balls with efficient HEX Aerodynamic cover pattern that replaced the traditional dimples. In 2003, the HX Tour and the Big Bertha golf balls were introduced. The Tour I series golf balls debut in 2008; Callaway’s first 4-piece golf ball. Today, there are many more choices in Callaway golf balls including the Solaire for women golfers and the new HX Diablo line for mid to high handicap golfers.
